Laminate floor is made up of a thin, pressed wood board with a laminated wood faced appearance. Once this material gets wet, Water Damage may be identified when swelling begins and delamination occurs which will not retract when dry, causing permanent damage.

If this occurs, it is recommended to turn off the water supply and eliminate the power to that specific appliance until an inspection is initiated by our Certified Masters and a repair/replacement is received.

Property leaks and overflows may initiate at anytime through bathtub/shower and sinks(including overflows and supply lines underneath the sinks and behind the showers), toilets*(both bowl and tank overflows and water leaking due to supply line burst/failure), the slab of the foundation leaking(plumbing underneath foundation bursts), along with other circumstances.
*An overflowing toilet may be caused by a clogged or blocked drain that doesn't allow for a proper flush. Depending on what was within the toilet at the time of the overflow, it may contain grossly contaminated water which can lead to serious health risks if not handled properly and promptly. To stop an overflowing toilet- If possible, obtain gloves and rubber boots, and with minimal contact of water, open the toilet tank and push the rubber flap down, sealing water from flowing from the tank into the bowl. After, turn off the water supply line valve that leads to the toilet tank. Again, health and safety is a priority and Five One Five has enthusiastic Certified Masters to aid in all toilet overflow circumstances.

Sewage backups may occur from either the city main sewage drain or the main sewage drain from the property, containing numerous amounts of Bacteria (E. Coli, Salmonella, etc.), Parasites (Giardia, Etc.), and/or Viruses' (Hep. A, Rotavirus, Etc.) within the contaminated water. Sewage also contains Pathogens such as Gram-Negative Bacteria which can cause infections such as pneumonia and blood stream infections. Gram-Negative Bacteria are also resistant to multiple drugs and most antibiotics.
Backups occur when there is a clogged drain line, which results in a backflow pressure of sewage water through any drain (toilets, sinks and even showers/bathtubs).

When a water heater bursts, it can become very disastrous within a matter of minutes. A main reason why water heaters burst is that there is corrosion within the tank, causing a burst of 50-80 Gallons water to escape the unit. This may cause astronomical damage and Mold will begin to colonize with 48 hours.
